Pilates is often referred to as the “thinking person’s” exercise of choice. It is a system of mind-body exercises developed from the rehabilitation exercises of Joseph Pilates. As a muscle conditioning method it develops a strong core, builds long, lean muscles and flexibility. Emphasis is on proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment to produce complete concentration on smooth, flowing movement. It encompasses over a hundred exercises for the mat and specialized equipment e.g., Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillac, rollers, balls, bands.

Many Pilates participants state they find Pilates unique in that at the end of a great physical workout they also feel relaxed and refreshed.

Pilates is a very flexible exercise system allowing for a range of difficulty from beginner to advanced. Therefore, we are able to provide workouts that best suit the individual, group and to increase the intensity as your body conditioning improves.
